Your responsibilities:
The purpose of the Global Medical Director Launches Neuroscience is to develop and lead Global Medical Affairs strategies in the assigned area and achieve key medical and program deliverables accordingly, including driving launch preparation, implementation and scientific lifecycle management.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Represent Global Medical Affairs in global project teams, actively contributing to development, commercialization, regulatory and access strategies
• Collaborate with Global Commercial and Market Access Directors, developing strong integrated brand strategies
• Development of complete Medical Affairs strategies including scientific communication and education strategies as well as evidence generation and publication plans
• Support of planning and leading studies including Phase IV, NIS, database reviews, health-economic analyses, patient reported outcome analyses, meta-analyses and systematic literature reviews
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with international external medical experts and medical societies within the selected therapeutic area
• Lead team of Global Medical Affairs associates dedicated to programs in scope, collaborate with regional and country colleagues to support local implementation of all strategies, tactics and plans

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Medical Doctor (MD), Pharmacist or PhD in biosciences and specific experience in pharmacology / drug therapy
• At least 8-10 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry with substantial experience in Medical Affairs in an international environment, and preferably product launch experience, experience with Biosimilars a strong plus, experience in Neuroscience or Multiple Sclerosis is beneficial but not a prerequisite
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, strong collaborative personality with ability to work in a fast-paced global environment
• Strong leadership skills and team player, previous experience in line-management including coaching, mentoring and developing direct reports
• Excellent ability to bridge science and strategic and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills
• Ability to successfully navigate fast and dynamic situations where there is ambiguity, uncertainty and change.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with a strong focus on reputation and integrity
• Flexible mindset, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to find success in everyday activities
