Job Purpose:
The Global Analyst Indirect Procurement is responsible for the delivery of first-class market intelligence and data analytics services, in addition to digital programs to drive value and modernize category work. This role has a focus on capital expenditure, facilities, maintenance, repair & operations, and utilities categories. However, work outside these categories may also be required. The role is responsible for ensuring effective and proactive business partnering with senior procurement stakeholders to define and deliver actionable insights to enable tangible business benefits and productivity. The global analyst also serves as an active advisor to senior management on digitalization efforts to modernize and improve how category management is conducted
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide analytics services & Insights - Collect and analyze supplier data such as spend, contracts, and ordering behavior to identify patterns to support negotiations and value creation (savings) projects.
• Conduct external data mining exercises to support overall category and procurement strategy and help in delivering strategic savings projects.
• Create data bridges between commercial, finance, supply chain, and procurement data to identify value and enrich savings pipeline.
• Collect, structure, clean, and optimize data for budgeting process as per defined budgeting schedule.
• Execute, verify, modify, optimize, and distribute reports according to pre-defined reporting schedules.
• Create and communicate KPI reports on regular basis based on a defined list of KPIs.
• Collaborate with external providers to provide market intelligence reports as required.
• Deliver business impact through processes optimization and automation. Leverage data science techniques and advanced analytics tools to deliver value through modernization, optimization, and disruption of category work.

Minimum Requirements
• >8 years of working experience in procurement, market intelligence, and advanced analytics.
• Robust communication and presentation skills (including MS suite advance skills).
• Proficient in using business frameworks such as Porter’s 5 Forces, SWOT, Kraljic matrix, PESTLE analysis.
• Experience in building a strong procurement intelligence capability and running the operational aspects of it.
• Strong knowledge and experience in advanced analytics and visualization tools (Alteryx, Qlik, Tableau, Power BI).
• Python and coding experience strongly preferred.
