Holzkirchen, January 31, 2019 – Sandoz, a Novartis division, is honored to announce that it has been officially certified “Global Top Employer 2019” for its exceptional employee offerings globally. The certification is based on annual, international research undertaken by the Top Employers Institute that recognizes leading employers around the world and their excellence in employee environment.
“This is proof that focusing the company on its purpose and putting culture at the heart of driving our strategy delivers value and creates a great place for people to work. It also gives us valuable insights into how we compare to our competitors within healthcare and other industries, so we can go further in our aim of pioneering novel approaches to increase access to medicine,” said Richard Francis, CEO, Sandoz.
The Top Employers Institute is generally acknowledged as the global authority on recognizing excellence in people practices. Organizations certified as “Top Employers” dedicate themselves to providing the very best working environment for employees through their progressive "people-first" HR practices. In order to be certified, organizations must successfully achieve the required minimum standard as set out by the Top Employers Institute.
“I’m proud to see our efforts to improve our employee experience around the world have been recognized by the Top Employer Institute,” said Joy Xu, Head Global HR, Sandoz. “This shows we are committed to being an employer of choice and empowering our employees to thrive and develop.”
